I'm so excited to perform at Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana on a really fantastic Taylor and Boody (Op. 41) tomorrow afternoon, which you can see above. Not only is the organ fantastic, but the room is like a dream to perform in as well! I spent all day with this organ and still feel as though I could never
really get bored playing it, even if I could practice here for years. I also changed the recital program from what I had before (never having met the instrument!). In addition to what I originally had: Buxtehude, J.S. Bach, C.P.E. Bach, Brahms, Muffat, Sweelinck, Couperin, and Mendelssohn, I am also adding pieces by Reger and Langlais. Both composers really work splendidly on the instrument and I am looking forward to the performance tomorrow afternoon. Afterwards, I will begin the 3.5 hour drive back to Oberlin for classes on Monday. What a wonderful weekend!
